It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 8CE or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who Contractors to submit bids for the following project
Only tenderers who Bids are invited from suitably qualified professional service providers to prepare and submit proposals to undertake
the implementation of the Ward 19 reticulation upgrade construction in the Alfred Nzo District Municipality. The following gives a high
level indication of activities to be undertaken:
•Connection to the existing bulk supply storage and make provision for future bulk connections
•Construction of new reservoirs
•Site clearance, excavations of trenches
The Works to be carried out by the MAIN CONTRACTOR under this Contract is detailed below.
•500kl Reinforced Concrete Reservoir,
•1ML Reinforced Concrete Reservoir,
•2 x 500kl Elevated Tank Reservoir,
•A fence for the reservoir sites,
•Construction of 3.5km of 250mmØ mPVC CL 16 pipeline,
•Construction of 1.5km of 250mmØ mPVC CL 12 pipeline
•Construction of valve chambers and assemblies
•Compliance to health and safety regulations of 2014 and environmental regulations.
The Subcontractors scope shall include the scope detailed below:
•Construction of 3.5km of 200mmØ mPVC CL 16 pipeline,
•Construction of 4.4km of 160mmØ mPVC CL 12 pipeline,
•Construction of 7.5km of 110mmØ mPVC CL 12 pipeline,
•Construction of valve chambers and assemblies
•Compliance to health and safety regulations of 2014 and environmental regulations.
