The primary objective of this tender is to procure the supply and delivery of geo-bag containers designed for coastal erosion control and repair work. The geo-bags must meet specific technical standards to ensure durability, stability, and effectiveness in coastal erosion mitigation.
The scope includes the supply of heavy-duty woven geotextile geo-bags, each measuring 1.60 m in length and 1.10 m in width, with an approximate filled weight of 1000 kg. The delivery address is 42 Kerk Street, Lamberts Bay, and the delivery lead time is 14 days after receipt of the purchase order. The contract covers the provision of 300 empty geo-bags, compliant with specified technical requirements, for coastal erosion and repair projects.
