DTPC INVITES TENDERS FROM COMPETENT CONTRACTOR(S) FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF BLOCK A REFRIGERATION
(COLD ROOM) LOCATED AT DUBE TRADEPORT CORPORATION
THE WORKS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
•MECHANICAL SCOPE OF WORKS (REFRIGERATION);
•ELECTRICAL SCOPE OF WORKS;
•STRUCTURAL SCOPE OF WORKS;
•CIVILS SCOPE OF WORKS; AND
•FIRE PROTECTION SCOPE OF WORKS.
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 6ME or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who It is estimated that tenderers must have a CIDB contractor grading (active) designation of
6ME or higher by the closing date of the bid. No PE status is allowed.
Bidders are further required to subcontract a CIDB contractor grading (active) designation of 3GB or higher unless where the main
bidder has a combination of 6ME and 3GB or higher
PREQUALIFICATION CRITERIA
a)In line with the PPPFA regulations, 2017-sub regulation 4, the prequalification for this bid is that:
•QSE companies are eligible to tender.
Only tenderers who LOCAL PRODUCTION AND CONTENT
In line with the National Treasury Instruction notes, this bid has a Local Production and Content for designated sectors as follows:
a)Electrical Cables 90%
b)Steel must be 100%,
c)Ventilation Equipment = 100%,
d)Plastic pipes must be 100%,
e)Cement must be 100%
are eligible to submit tenders.
A non-refundable tender deposit of R1,000.00 payable by proof of deposit is required on collection of the Tender documents.

REQUESTS FOR DOCUMENTS & ENQUIRIES
Bid documents will only be available from, 19 January 2023 up to 31 January 2023 during the weekdays (Mon – Fri) between 08h30
and 16h00, at the Dube TradePort Corporation offices at 7 Umsinsi Junction, 4th floor, 29 South, La Mercy, KwaZulu-Natal. A nonrefundable document fee of R1 000.00 (One thousand Rands) must be paid via EFT and must emailed in order for the Bid Documents
to be sent you. No cash will be accepted and proof of payment must be emailed for the Bid Documents to be sent to you. Please allow
2 days for funds to reflect in the account. DTPC will only email documents once the payment has been cleared in its bank account.
Payments must contain the reference, “DTP/RFP/25/IFR/02/2022” and must clearly identify the Bidder, e.g. “ABC Consortium”.
Electronic versions of these documents will only be available on confirmation and/or proof of payment.

A COMPULSORY briefing session meeting and site visit will be held on the 1 FEBRUARY 2023 at 13:00 physically at 7 Umsinsi
Junction, 29 South Building, Aerotropolis Visitors Centre, La Mercy, KZN, for service providers who have paid for and were emailed the
Bid Documents during the collection period as specified above.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at 7 Umsinsi Junction, 29 South Building,
Aerotropolis Visitors Centre, La Mercy, KZN on 01 February 2023 starting at 13h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 11h00 on Friday, February 24, 2023.
Emailed and Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
