DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH WESTERN CAPE INVITES TENDERS FOR ROUTINE MAINTENANCE, SERVICE AND REPAIR OF
MECHANICAL SYSTEMS FOR 24
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 2ME or higher.
Only tenderers who Please note:
1.Tenderers are required to have a CIDB grading of 2ME or higher (Grade 2 Mechanical Engineering Works) .
2.Tenderers need to be compliant and registered on the Western Cape Supplier Evidence Bank, CSD and on ePS; Tenderers need to
be compliant with the above and tax-compliant with SARS at close of tender.
3.Prices shall be submitted electronically on ePS.
4.Tenderers need to be represented by one employer/member (to accommodate interested Tenderers) at the “compulsory site meeting”
on the date and time stipulated.
5.Tenderers not-present at the site meeting will not be eligible to tender.
6.Tenderers must print the attached tender document, inclusive of the BOQ and specifications and bring it to the site meeting.
7.ePS Commodity: 2ME or higher (Grade 2 Mechanical Engineering Works) .
8.Tenderers to have a Category B6 SAQCC Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Practitioner to do service and repair of air conditioning
equipment in their employ and registered in their company name.
9.Tenderers to have a proof of authorised dealership of a Samsung DVM unit as listed in equipment schedule.
10.Tenderers who arrive late at the compulsory site meeting will be disqualified
are eligible to submit tenders.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representitives of the Employer will take place at ENGINEERING TRAINING CENTRE, KARL
BREMER HOSPITAL (c/o Mike Pienaar Boulevard and Frans Conradie Drive), Bellville on 12 August 2026 starting at 11h00.
The closing time for receipt of Tenders is 11h00 on Friday, August 21, 2026.
Emailed and Late Tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued.
Requirements for sealing, addressing, delivering, opening and assessment of Tenders are stated in the Tender Data.
