Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure services and goods for the Winnie Madikizela-Mandela Local Municipality to conduct a Community Safety Awareness Campaign. The campaign aims to enhance community safety awareness through various activities, catering, logistics, and equipment provision, ensuring effective engagement across all wards.

Scope

The scope includes the provision of:

• Event catering services (VIP lunch, high tea, lunch packs)
• Provision of water and transportation services for the campaign
• Supply of chairs, tables, sound systems, and other event equipment
• Logistical arrangements for transporting participants from 32 wards

The campaign activities are scheduled to be conducted at a specified date, with all items and services detailed in the specifications document.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements encompass:

• Provision of catering items as per specified menu sizes and quantities
• Transportation of people using 15-seater taxis for all wards
• Supply of event furniture including white chair covers, round and rectangular tables with black cloths
• Sound system setup with microphones and keyboard player
• Delivery of bottled water (500ml bottles)

All items must meet the specified standards, quantities, and delivery timelines as outlined in the project specifications.

Skills Requirements

The successful service provider must demonstrate:

• Experience in event catering and logistics management
• Ability to supply and set up event furniture and sound systems
• Capacity to coordinate transportation for multiple locations
• Compliance with municipal procurement policies and submission of mandatory documentation
• Understanding of local content and preference regulations, including local production and content declarations
