Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure clear plastic garbage bags of specified sizes and micron thicknesses for use at Queen Nandi Regional Hospital, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and standards, and facilitating waste management operations within the hospital.

Scope

The scope includes the supply of two types of clear garbage bags:

• Garbage bags measuring 560mm x 610mm with a capacity of 30 liters and 40 microns thickness.
• Garbage bags measuring 760mm x 910mm with a capacity of 90 liters and 40 microns thickness.

The estimated usage for the 2026/27 financial year is approximately 121,440 units of the smaller size and 136,200 units of the larger size. The contract period is for 12 months, starting from July 2026.
