Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to coordinate both national and local artists and design a poster for the 2026 Youth Day Celebrations. The successful bidder will source and appoint recognized artists, evaluate and finalize the artist lineup, ensure community development programs are adopted by artists, and produce promotional materials including posters and teasers. Additionally, the bidder will facilitate community engagement through artist-led programs and ensure timely attendance and participation at the event.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Sourcing and appointing national and local artists across specified genres.
• Screen and evaluate artists, presenting a draft lineup for municipal approval.
• Ensuring artists participate in community development programs aligned with municipal beneficiaries.
• Managing artist schedules to ensure punctuality and attendance at the Youth Day event on 27 June 2026 at Loerie Park Stadium.
• Providing promotional teasers and designing a poster for the event.
• Organizing community engagement activities with artists, including social responsibility programs.

Technical Requirements

• Ability to source recognized national and local artists in specified genres (e.g., RnB Soul, AfroPop, DJ genres).
• Evaluation and screening processes for artist selection.
• Presentation of draft artist lineup for municipal approval.
• Coordination of artist participation in community development programs.
• Provision of promotional content such as teasers and posters.
• All costs related to artist transport, accommodation, catering, and promotion must be included in the bid.
• Design and deliver promotional materials, including posters and teaser videos.

Skills Requirements

• Proven experience in artist coordination and event management.
• Strong evaluation and screening capabilities for selecting suitable artists.
• Creative skills in designing promotional posters and digital content.
• Ability to manage logistics for artists, including transport and accommodation.
