Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure travel services for Stellenbosch, Cape Town, on behalf of Johannesburg City Parks and Zoo (JCPZ). The aim is to secure reliable, efficient, and cost-effective travel arrangements that meet the specified requirements, ensuring smooth travel for designated personnel and stakeholders.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes the provision of:

• Flight bookings (economy class) for specified individuals departing from Lanseria and OR Tambo airports to Cape Town, with specified departure and return dates.
• Accommodation in a 3-star hotel in Stellenbosch, including breakfast, from 01 September to 05 September 2026.
• Car rental (Group C) with a driver, covering 100 km per day, including insurance waivers and super cover.

The services are to be delivered in accordance with the detailed specifications and conditions outlined in the tender documents.

Technical Requirements

• Provision of discounted economy class flights for specified travelers with confirmed departure and return dates.
• Accommodation at recommended venues (The Stellenbosch Hotel, Protea Hotel, or Eendracht Hotel) with check-in and check-out dates aligned with travel schedule.
• Car rental with specified vehicle group, mileage limits, and insurance coverage, including a driver for the duration of the trip.
• Submission of quotations in sealed envelopes, clearly marked with the reference number and description.
• Compliance with COVID-19 restrictions regarding quotation submissions.

Skills Requirements

• Ability to provide comprehensive travel management services, including flight bookings, accommodation, and car rentals.
• Experience in handling government or municipal travel arrangements and understanding of procurement policies.
• Knowledge of the relevant legal and regulatory frameworks, including the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act and related regulations.
