Objectives

Technical Requirements

• All items must meet the specifications outlined in the tender document, including dimensions, materials, durability, and functionality.
• Items such as chairs, back supports, and footrests should be ergonomic, adjustable, and made from impact-resistant materials.
• Promotional and signage items must be produced with high-quality, fade-resistant graphics suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
• Display systems like fabric backdrops and banners should be lightweight, portable, easy to assemble/disassemble, and capable of repeated use without loss of quality.
• All signage and safety boards must adhere to safety standards and be suitable for outdoor durability.
• Suppliers must provide proof of compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.

Skills and Competency Requirements

• Proven experience in supplying similar goods and services, supported by references and past project details.
• Ability to meet technical specifications and quality standards as specified in the tender documentation.
• Capacity to deliver goods within stipulated timelines and in accordance with the municipality’s logistical requirements.
• Compliance with legal, tax, and B-BBEE requirements, including valid registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and relevant certification.
• Demonstrated understanding of municipal procurement policies and adherence to the Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022.
• Qualified personnel with relevant skills in procurement, logistics, quality assurance, and technical evaluation.
