Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure collateral materials for the Eastern Cape Gambling Board (ECGB). The procurement aims to acquire various branded items such as water bottles, caps, T-shirts, jackets, blazers, and pens that will promote responsible gambling messaging and the ECGB brand.

Scope

The scope includes the supply of specified collateral items with detailed product specifications, quantities, branding, and packaging requirements. Items include:

• PA-free transparent plastic water bottles (250ml and 750ml)
• Golf caps in various colors
• Unisex T-shirts with specific fabric and design details
• Insulated jackets with detachable hoods and multiple pockets
• Formal blazers for men and women with embroidery
• Branded pens with ECGB logo

The procurement also covers the design, branding, mock-ups, samples, and timely delivery of all items within specified deadlines.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications for the items are as follows:

• Water bottles: Clear/colourless, cylindrical, screw-on leak-proof caps, printed with ECGB logo and messaging, sizes 250ml and 750ml.
• Caps: Black, blue, sky blue, navy, white, with ECGB logo and messaging.
• T-shirts: 100% polyester or polyester/cotton blend, short-sleeved, round neck, unisex fit, embroidered ECGB logo, with specified sizes and colors.
• Jackets: Wind-resistant, water-resistant, with detachable hoods, multiple zip pockets, contrast heat-pressed logos, and interior access for branding.
• Blazers: Wool or wool-blend, structured, with embroidery of ECGB logo on chest, full lining, and specific lapel styles.
• Pens: Branded Quinn Dome pens with ECGB logo and messaging.

All products must meet the specified dimensions, materials, branding methods, and quality standards. Product images, mock-ups, and samples are required for approval before bulk production.

Skills and Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must demonstrate the following skills and capabilities:

• Product Design & Development: Ability to produce detailed product specifications, mock-ups, and prototypes aligned with ECGB branding guidelines.
• Branding & Printing: Expertise in pad printing, rotary screen printing, embroidery, heat transfer, and full-color digital printing to ensure high-quality branding on various materials.
• Manufacturing & Quality Control: Proven experience in manufacturing branded promotional items with adherence to technical specifications, quality standards, and timely delivery.
• Logistics & Delivery: Capacity to manage logistics, packaging, and delivery within strict deadlines (e.g., 30 days from order receipt).
• Sample & Mock-up Provision: Ability to produce and submit accurate, production-ready samples and digital mock-ups for approval prior to mass production.
• Compliance & Documentation: Knowledge of tax compliance, supplier registration, and adherence to procurement policies and regulations.

Overall, the bidder must have the technical expertise, manufacturing capacity, branding proficiency, and logistical capabilities to deliver high-quality collateral materials that meet the detailed specifications and branding requirements of the ECGB.
