Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a reputable service provider to provide courier services for Saldanha Bay Municipality's Revenue Department. The services include the delivery of summonses and related documents across all provinces, ensuring confidentiality, safety, and timely delivery, with an emphasis on tracking and safeguarding sensitive information.

Scope

The scope of work encompasses:

• Provision of courier services specifically for documents, including summonses issued by the court.
• Implementation of an electronic tracking system to monitor all consignments.
• Delivery and collection of summonses and related documents across all provinces.
• Ensuring confidentiality and security of parcels, with measures in place to protect sensitive information in line with relevant laws such as the POPI Act.
• No insurance or public liability coverage is required.

Estimated quantities are for evaluation purposes only, and the municipality reserves the right to purchase any quantity, including none.

Technical Requirements

• An electronic tracking system capable of tracking all couriered consignments.
• Safeguarding the confidentiality and safety of parcels, with demonstrated measures to protect sensitive information.
• Delivery of documents only, with no need for insurance or public liability coverage.
• Compliance with relevant legal frameworks, including the POPI Act.
