Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a qualified service provider to carry out renovations of the Speakers Office in Groblersdal. The scope includes replacing roof gutters and down pipes, refurbishing exterior toilets, sinks, and floor tiles, replacing windowpanes, maintaining and painting steel frames, roof tiles, doors, and window frames.

Scope

The scope of work encompasses:

• Replacement of all roof gutters and down pipes
• Renovations to exterior toilets, including sink cabinets and sink tops
• Floor tiling inside two toilets
• Replacement of windowpanes inside the control room
• Roof maintenance, including painting of steel frames, roof tiles, doors, and window frames
• Additional works as detailed in the attached scope of works

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Provision of fully completed, priced, and initialed quotation documents
• Submission of all compulsory returnable documents such as:
• Tax Compliance Status Pin/Tax Clearance Certificate
• Valid Company Registration documents
• Certified ID copies of Directors (not older than 3 months)
• Proof of CIDB registration (Grade 1GB or higher)
• Proof of municipal rates and taxes or lease agreement with rates proof
• Signed MBD forms (MBD 4, 8, 9, 6.1)
• CSD Summary Report
• Alterations must be signed (not initialed)
• Bid submissions must be in sealed envelopes and submitted before the deadline; electronic submissions are not accepted

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder should demonstrate:

• Experience in building renovations and maintenance
• Capability to handle roofing, tiling, carpentry, and painting works
• Compliance with CIDB grading requirements (Grade 1GB or higher)
• Ability to provide all necessary documentation and meet procurement criteria
