Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure tree felling services at the 176 Building for the uMgungundlovu District Municipality, ensuring safe and effective removal of trees as specified in the scope of work.

Scope

The scope involves providing tree felling services at the 176 Building located on Langalibalele Street, Pietermaritzburg. The services include site assessment, safe tree removal, and related activities as detailed in the tender documentation. A compulsory site briefing session will be held to clarify scope details.

Technical Requirements

• Registration with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) with a contractor grading of 1GB or higher.
• Attendance at a compulsory site briefing session scheduled for 27 February 2026 at 10h00 am.
• Submission of quotations on official bid documents, clearly marked and sealed.
• Adherence to the General Conditions of Contract (GCC) 2010 and any applicable special conditions.
• Provision of detailed breakdowns of unit prices if delivery or specific services are requested.
• Compliance with municipal and national regulations regarding safety, environmental standards, and tree removal procedures.
