Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure goods and/or services related to the supply, maintenance, and rental of water coolers and dispensers for Joburg Theatre. The aim is to ensure the provision of energy-efficient, environmentally friendly water cooling solutions with reliable maintenance and quality assurance, including water quality certificates and prompt repair or replacement services.

Scope

The scope encompasses:

• Supply, delivery, and maintenance of water coolers and dispensers.
• Provision of water coolers that dispense only cold water, are floor-standing, and energy-efficient.
• Monthly maintenance including cleaning and filter changes.
• Quarterly water quality certification.
• Ad hoc water cooler rentals and replacement of water filters.
• Service within one week of contract award and maintaining reserved dispensers for unforeseen interruptions.

Technical Requirements

• Water coolers must be floor-standing, energy-efficient, and environmentally friendly.
• Dispense only cold water.
• Monthly maintenance and filter changes, including cleaning.
• Provision of quarterly water quality certificates.
• Broken units must be swapped within 24 hours until repaired at no cost.
• Replacement water filters must be included in pricing.
• Cooling systems should be environmentally friendly.
• Service delivery within one week of contract award.
• Maintain reserved dispensers to ensure continuous supply during disruptions.

Skills and Competency Requirements

• Proven experience in supplying and maintaining water cooling systems, demonstrated through relevant project references and certificates.
• Ability to provide water quality certification on a quarterly basis.
• Technical capacity to repair or replace units within 24 hours.
• Compliance with environmental standards for cooling systems.
• Knowledge of water filtration and maintenance procedures.
• Registered and accredited on the Joburg City Theatres’ Supplier Database.
• Provision of certified company registration documents, tax compliance certificates, and BBBEE certificates or sworn affidavits.
• Capacity to deliver services within the specified timeframe and maintain quality standards.
