Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to solicit quotations for the repair and maintenance of online filter plants, regeneration plants, and oil filtration plants. The aim is to ensure the proper functioning and reliability of these critical filtration systems used by City Power Johannesburg (SOC) Ltd.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Repairing online filtering and regeneration plants in the workshop and on-site.
• Servicing and repairing a regeneration plant.
• Repairing oil filtration plants.

The work involves assessment, repair, servicing, and ensuring operational readiness of the specified filtration equipment at designated sites or workshops.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Assessment of existing online filtering and regeneration plants.
• Repair and servicing of the online filtering and regeneration plants, including the Regen Oil Plant.
• Repair of oil filtration plants to ensure optimal performance.
• Provision of relevant documentation such as reference letters, ISO 9001:2015 certification, and proof of experience in oil filtration.
• Assessment of instruments and equipment at the lab prior to quoting.

Bidder must also provide all necessary documentation to demonstrate compliance with quality standards and experience.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required for the successful bidder include:

• Minimum of a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (scoring up to 10 points in evaluation).
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in online oil filtration (scoring up to 10 points).
• Provision of CVs reflecting experience and RSA ID copies.
• Foreign qualifications must be SAQA accredited, and foreign nationals must provide certified passports and valid work permits.
• Ability to demonstrate company experience through reference letters, purchase orders, work certificates, and ISO certification.
• Compliance with BBBEE requirements, including ownership and enterprise goals.
