Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure services for the servicing of vacuum, oxygen, and medical air points at Clairwood Hospital. The aim is to ensure the proper maintenance and functionality of essential medical gas points within the hospital environment.

Scope

The scope of the tender encompasses the provision of gardening and grounds services at Clairwood Hospital for a duration of six months. The scope includes attending to the servicing requirements of medical gas points, ensuring their operational integrity, and maintaining the hospital grounds as specified.

Technical Requirements

• Provision of servicing for vacuum, oxygen, and medical air points at Clairwood Hospital.
• Compliance with safety standards, including the production of a valid safety file or plan.
• Adherence to specifications outlined in the attached documentation.
• Breakdown costs must comply with the current National Minimum Wage as gazetted by the Department of Labour.
• Provision of valid dumping certificates and other environmental compliance documents.
• Participation in a compulsory site meeting scheduled for 22.06.2026 at the Stores.

Skills Requirements

• Proven experience in servicing medical gas points and hospital grounds.
• Ability to demonstrate previous related work through copies of orders and completion certificates.
• Qualified personnel with relevant safety and equipment certificates (e.g., brush cutter, chain saw, safety officer certificates).
• Capacity to produce and verify safety files, safety plans, and environmental compliance documents.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to hospital environments.
• Ability to provide traceable references for similar work completed.
