Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a supply and delivery of blue 90-liter garbage bags that meet specified standards and requirements for use at Vryheid Hospital under the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Health.

The scope includes the provision of blue 90L garbage bags, with detailed specifications such as size (approximately 910mm x 760mm x 50mm), material (50-micron thickness), and compliance with relevant standards. The procurement covers the supply, delivery, and associated documentation, ensuring the bags meet the specified quality and standards for hospital use.

Technical Requirements

• Item Description: Blue garbage bags, size approximately 910mm x 760mm x 50mm, 50-micron thickness.
• Quantity: As specified in the procurement document (e.g., 600 packets of 100 pieces).
• Standards: Bags must conform to the specified size, material, and quality standards, including compliance with SANAS/SABS specifications.
• Packaging: Bags should be packed appropriately to prevent damage during transit, with proper labeling and documentation.
• Delivery: Goods must be delivered to Vryheid Hospital, with documentation as specified, within the agreed contract period (once-off).
