Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver plumbing and electrical items to Imbalenhle Community Health Centre, ensuring timely procurement of quality materials that meet specified standards and requirements.

Scope

The scope encompasses the procurement, supply, and delivery of a wide range of plumbing and electrical items, including but not limited to pipes, fittings, switches, circuit breakers, lighting, and related accessories, as specified in the detailed technical specifications. The items are intended for use within the health facility to support maintenance and operational needs.

Technical Requirements

• Items must conform to the specifications outlined in the annexed specification forms, including compliance with SANS standards.
• All products must be new, unused, and of the latest models or current standards.
• Samples may be required for certain items, and must be submitted upon request for evaluation.
• Items must be delivered in packaging that prevents damage during transit and storage.
• Delivery must be made to the specified address at Imbalenhle CHC, within the agreed contract period.
• All prices must be firm and inclusive of VAT (if applicable), with delivery costs included.
• Suppliers must provide necessary documentation, including compliance certificates, invoices, and relevant registration details.

Skills and Qualifications Requirements

• Bidder must demonstrate compliance with the specifications and standards specified in the tender documents.
• Bidder must possess relevant experience in supplying plumbing and electrical materials to healthcare or similar institutions.
• Suppliers should have valid registration on the Central Suppliers Database (CSD) and possess a valid tax clearance certificate.
• Bidder must provide proof of B-BBEE status or Sworn Affidavit for EMEs and QSEs.
• Technical personnel involved in the supply chain should have adequate knowledge of plumbing and electrical standards and specifications.
• All documentation and submissions must be complete, accurate, and submitted within the stipulated deadlines.
