Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver office furniture to Knysna Municipality, ensuring the provision of quality furniture that meets the municipality's specifications and requirements.

Scope

The procurement covers all necessary items to furnish municipal offices, with the potential for additional related equipment as indicated in the pricing schedule.

Technical Requirements

• Provision of office furniture that complies with the specifications outlined in the RFQ documents.
• Delivery of goods to the designated municipal sites within the agreed timeframe.
• Inspection, testing, and analysis to ensure goods meet contractual standards.
• Proper packing to prevent damage during transit.
• Warranty coverage of at least 12 months for defects arising from design, materials, or workmanship.
• Provision of incidental services such as installation, commissioning, and training if specified.
• Compliance with municipal and national procurement regulations, including tax and municipal account clearances.

Skills Requirements

• Ability to supply office furniture that meets technical specifications and quality standards.
• Experience in logistics and delivery to municipal or government sites.
• Knowledge of inspection, testing, and quality assurance processes.
