Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to obtain competitive quotations from suitably experienced service providers for the supply and delivery of tablet devices to the Swartland Municipality. • Submit original and valid Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) Status Level Verification Certificates, or properly certified copies, to substantiate claimed ratings.
• Provide verifiable Proof of Locality to qualify for additional preference points related to municipal economic participation.

Incomplete documentation or failure to submit required certificates will result in the forfeiture of preferential benefits.

Evaluation and Compliance Framework

Bids will be assessed using a structured evaluation process aligned with municipal procurement policy. Submissions must be delivered in sealed envelopes with the correct reference marking before the stipulated deadline. Late, electronic, or faxed tenders will be rejected outright. The municipality retains full discretion to accept or reject any bid and is not bound to award the contract to the lowest-priced supplier.
