Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and install two (02) 18,000 BTU Midwall split air conditioners (non-inverter, R410A refrigerant) in the HR offices at NHLS Sandringham Campus. The project aims to enhance the climate control within designated HR office spaces by providing efficient cooling and heating solutions.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Supply of two (02) 18,000 BTU Midwall split air conditioning units (non-inverter, R410A).
• Installation of the units in HR offices AGF/06 and AGF/07 at NHLS Sandringham Campus.
• Removal and delivery of existing air conditioners to the workshop.
• Electrical and refrigeration work carried out by qualified technicians, including wiring, piping, and connection to existing electrical infrastructure.
• Provision of necessary accessories such as wall-mounted digital controllers, PVC piping, trunking, and circuit breakers.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety, technical, and regulatory standards.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications for the units and installation are as follows:

• Units must be non-inverter type, using R410A refrigerant.
• Units should have wall-mounted digital controllers.
• Outdoor units to be fitted on the ground with piping and trunking, connected to existing isolators.
• Units must be from manufacturers such as LG, Carrier, York, Samsung, Daikin, or similar.
• Electrical work must be performed by qualified electricians with artisan certificates or licensed electricians.
• All piping and cabling to be in PVC ducting, with proper lengths and connections.
• Units must be capable of heating and cooling functions.
• Installation must adhere to the specifications outlined in the tender documents, including safety and compliance standards.

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must demonstrate:

• Proven experience in supplying and installing split air conditioning systems, particularly midwall units.
• Qualified refrigeration technicians with relevant trade tests and certifications.
• Qualified electricians with appropriate licenses and experience in electrical installations for HVAC systems.
• Capability to carry out removal, delivery, and installation work safely and in accordance with technical standards.
• Ability to coordinate with hospital management to carry out work in operational environments, respecting sensitive electronic equipment and hospital activities.
• Provision of warranties (minimum 12 months) and maintenance support post-installation.
