Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure the supply and installation of a Magflow Meter with a display at the Riverlands Pump Station. The project aims to ensure accurate flow measurement and monitoring at the specified location, adhering to the technical specifications outlined in the official bid documentation.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Provision of a Magflow Meter with a display suitable for the Riverlands Pump Station.
• Installation of the Magflow Meter at the designated site.
• Ensuring the equipment meets the specifications and standards set by the Swartland Municipality.
• Compliance with all relevant technical and safety requirements during installation.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the tender include:

• The Magflow Meter must be compatible with the existing infrastructure at the Riverlands Pump Station.
• The meter must include a display for real-time flow monitoring.
• Suppliers must be registered with the CIDB in a ME Class of construction works, with a grading designation equal to or higher than the value determined by the contract estimate.
• The equipment must conform to the specifications detailed in the official bid documentation.
• All tenders must be submitted in sealed envelopes, clearly marked with the tender reference number.
• Bid evaluation will be based on the 80/20 preference point system, considering price and B-BBEE status.
• Suppliers must provide valid B-BBEE Status Level Verification Certificates and Proof of Locality to claim preference points.
