Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure and supply specialized instrumentation cabling required for operational infrastructure at the Langlaagte depot. The process also aims to streamline internal procurement workflows by ensuring proper documentation, requisition issuance, and cross-departmental coordination.

Scope of Services

The scope covers the complete supply chain for the required cabling, including:

• Preparation and issuance of the Purchase Requisition (PR).
• Distribution and alignment of the scope of work with the Mechanical & Control Instruments (MC&I) and Operations (OPS) departments.
• Delivery of the cable to the designated operational site.

The geographic footprint for delivery is restricted to the Transnet Pipelines LLA Depot.

Bidders must supply instrumentation cable that strictly adheres to the following specifications:

• Cable Category: Instrumentation Cable
• Pair Configuration: 16 pairs
• Total Length: 1600 metres

The cable must be rated for industrial pipeline environments and capable of reliable signal transmission for remote monitoring applications.

Skills Requirements
