Objectives

Technical Requirements

• The hose reel must be steel, wall-mounted, and capable of holding a 30-meter hose.
• The hose reel should include a plastic nozzle suitable for water dispensing.
• The item must conform to the specifications outlined in the annexure, including size, material, and quality standards.
• The product must be new, unused, and of the most recent models, incorporating all recent design improvements.
• The hose reel should be capable of withstanding rough handling and exposure to environmental elements during transit and use.
• The supply must include all necessary documentation, manuals, and compliance certificates.

Skills and Qualifications Requirements

• The bidder must be registered on the Central Suppliers Database (CSD) and possess valid registration documents.
• The bidder must provide a valid tax clearance certificate and SARS PIN to demonstrate tax compliance.
• The bidder should have prior experience in supplying similar water management equipment, evidenced by at least two trade references with contact details.
• The bidder must hold or be authorized by the manufacturer to supply the specified hose reel, demonstrating technical capability and product knowledge.
• The bidder must submit a sworn affidavit or BBB-EE certificate indicating their level of Black Economic Empowerment ownership, supporting preferential procurement goals.
• The bidder should have personnel capable of providing technical support, installation guidance, and after-sales service if required.
