Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure branded medium tablecloths to support health awareness campaigns and related activities within the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Health. The procurement aims to ensure the supply of quality, colour-printed polyester tablecloths that meet specified standards and specifications, facilitating effective communication and branding for departmental events and campaigns.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Procurement of 14 branded medium-sized tablecloths.
• Delivery of the tablecloths to the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Health Central Supply Chain Management offices at 310 Jabu Ndlovu Street, Pietermaritzburg.
• Provision of tablecloths that conform to detailed specifications, including size, material, and printing requirements.
• Adherence to the contractual and technical standards specified in the tender documentation.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications for the tablecloths are as follows:

• Material: Polyester fabric
• Full colour printing on the fabric
• Size: Length 1250mm, Width 655mm
• Packaging: 1 per packet
• Design: Branded with departmental logos or campaign messages as specified in the attached annexure
• Quality Standard: Must comply with the specifications detailed in the annexure and be approved by the end-user
• Samples: May be required for approval prior to bulk production

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must demonstrate:

• Proficiency in manufacturing polyester printed textiles according to specified standards
• Experience in producing branded promotional materials for government or health sector clients
• Capability to deliver quality products within the stipulated timeframe
• Understanding of compliance with departmental and national procurement policies, including preference points and quality standards
• Ability to provide technical support or clarification regarding the specifications and design requirements
