Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a qualified service provider to conduct bus valuations across multiple locations nationally. The service aims to provide accurate asset valuations, consolidated reporting, and related services to support PRASA's asset management and financial reporting requirements.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Valuation of buses at Pretoria, Johannesburg, Durban, and Cape Town depots.
• Preparation of consolidated reports on bus valuations.
• Provision of travel and disbursement services related to valuation activities.
• Delivery of valuation reports on company letterhead.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements specify that the service provider must:

• Possess relevant accreditation from the South African Institute of Valuers or the South African Council for the Property Valuers Profession, or equivalent asset valuation associations.
• Provide valuations for specified depots with quantities as detailed in the BOQ.
• Ensure valuations are comprehensive, accurate, and compliant with applicable valuation standards.
• Submit reports on company letterhead, including detailed valuation data and consolidated reporting.
• Include travel and disbursement costs as part of the quotation.

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must demonstrate:

• Expertise in vehicle and asset valuation, specifically buses.
