The initiative aims to equip learners with foundational networking knowledge, practical troubleshooting capabilities, and an industry-recognised credential to enhance their operational readiness and employability in ICT environments.

Scope

The scope encompasses the complete delivery of a five-day instructional and assessment cycle, scheduled for the last week of July 2026. Bidders must submit a compliant proposal detailing organisational background, pedagogical methodology, daily programme outlines, comprehensive costing (unit/group rates, travel, accommodation, and ancillary expenses), tangible deliverables, post-training value-add services, implementation timelines, facilitator credentials, and proof of required accreditations. Joint ventures are explicitly prohibited. The proposal must follow a strict eight-point structure, including mandatory annexures for CSD documentation and company profiles. Assessment protocols must clarify whether learners receive a Certificate of Competence upon successful completion.

Technical Requirements

• Training must be conducted exclusively at the Training Service Provider’s (TSP) accredited facility.
• Providers must hold valid Cisco accreditation alongside institutional accreditation as a registered training service provider. Affiliations with other professional bodies are considered secondary.
• Daily programme outlines must specify delivery formats, such as block sessions, lectures, and practical assessments.
• Facilitator CVs submitted must correspond exactly to the personnel assigned to the programme. Any proposed replacements require prior submission of equivalent qualifications before training commencement.
• All financial and logistical components, including travel and accommodation where applicable, must be itemised transparently.

Skills Requirements

Facilitators must possess formal ICT qualifications with specific certification in Cisco Certified Support Technician (Networking). Additionally, each facilitator must hold a recognised facilitation certificate to ensure pedagogical effectiveness and alignment with workplace readiness standards. Participants will develop core networking competencies, including network fundamentals, device configuration, basic security principles, and troubleshooting methodologies aligned with Cisco’s entry-level professional standards.
