The primary objective of this tender is to procure Oukitel WP39 5G Ruggedised Phones or equivalent devices that meet specified technical standards, including long-lasting batteries, high-quality cameras, and compatibility with Android 14 or higher. The procurement aims to ensure reliable communication tools for Johannesburg Water staff, with an emphasis on device durability, local support, and compliance with regulatory standards.
The scope of the tender encompasses the supply of 11,000 units of ruggedised phones with specified technical features, accessories per device, and a 12-month warranty with local support. The procurement process includes evaluation of technical specifications, compliance with mandatory requirements, and adherence to Johannesburg Water’s procurement policies.
