Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure services for space planning and the development of 3D designs for the merSETA Head Office in Parktown, Johannesburg. The service provider will be responsible for conducting site surveys, producing conceptual architectural layouts, and creating detailed 3D visualizations to facilitate interior design and office reconfiguration. Additionally, the project aims to ensure a habitable, efficient, and standards-compliant working environment, including the procurement of office furniture where necessary.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Conducting site surveys of the merSETA Head Office premises.
• Producing conceptual architectural layouts based on provided specifications and standards.
• Designing interior spaces with considerations for office management and space optimization.
• Developing detailed 3D models and visualizations of the proposed layouts.
• Preparing a bill of quantities for the interior modifications and furniture procurement.
• Ensuring designs are approved by relevant authorities and landlord prior to implementation.
• Providing a comprehensive company profile, including relevant experience and qualifications.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for this tender include:

• Carrying out a site survey and producing conceptual architectural layouts.

• Providing a bill of quantities for construction and furnishing works.

Skills Requirements

The successful service provider must demonstrate the following skills and qualifications:

• Educational qualification: Bachelor's degree or National Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of practical experience in space planning and interior design, preferably in commercial or corporate environments.
• Capability to conduct site surveys and produce conceptual and detailed architectural layouts.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and visualization software.
• Ability to prepare accurate bills of quantities and technical documentation.
• Strong project management skills, including capacity to coordinate with stakeholders and obtain necessary approvals.
• Provision of a detailed CV of a Project Leader with minimum 3 years relevant experience.
• Demonstrated capacity through company profile and reference letters for similar projects.
