Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a professional service provider to execute office asset relocation services from the MHSC office in Woodmead to a new office building in Rivonia. The service aims to facilitate the smooth transfer of all MHSC assets and documents with minimal operational disruption, ensuring the safety and protection of items during transit and reinstallation.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Providing packaging, loading, and offloading of specified assets and personal items.
• Transporting assets over approximately 7 km distance to the new location.
• Reinstalling and re-establishing assets at the new premises.
• Handling a wide range of assets including safes, fridges, banners, electronic devices, furniture, and office equipment.
• Ensuring minimal operational disruption during the relocation process.
• Providing necessary packaging materials and labour for the move.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Safe packaging, loading, and unloading of specified assets such as safes, fridges, banners, electronic devices, furniture, and office equipment.
• Transporting assets over a distance of approximately 7 km with minimal disruption.
• Handling ESD-sensitive devices with anti-static precautions, including proper storage and transport in anti-static bags and padding.
• Reinstallation of assets at the new office location, ensuring operational continuity.
• Provision of packaging materials, labour, and transportation services.
• Compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Provision of proof of public liability and goods in transit insurance prior to contract commencement.

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must demonstrate:

• Company experience in office relocation or furniture removal services, with a clear company profile indicating years of relevant experience.
• Ability to provide reference letters from clients confirming experience in executing similar relocation services within the last seven years.
• Capability to handle ESD-sensitive equipment with appropriate precautions.
• Competence in packing, loading, transporting, and reinstallation of diverse assets.
• Compliance with health and safety standards and insurance requirements.
• Proven track record in executing office relocations with minimal operational disruption.
