Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a service provider to supply and install one (01) mobile lab container in Musina, including testing and analyzing drinking water and wastewater. Additionally, the project aims to ensure proper installation, security, electrical, plumbing, and site preparation to facilitate effective water testing operations.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Supply and delivery of a steel mobile laboratory container (6m x 2.4m x 2.4m) with specified features such as doors, windows, insulation, electrical and plumbing components, security fittings, and air conditioning.
• Installation of the container on a prepared slab covering the area.
• Provision of electrical connections (wall plugs, lighting, distribution box), plumbing (water connections, double zinc), and security features (windows, burglar bars, security gate).
• Supply of security and electrical fittings, site visit for material quantification, and ensuring compliance with technical specifications.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications for the mobile lab include:

• Container dimensions: 6 meters length, 2.4 meters width, 2.4 meters height.
• Doors: 1.8-meter door with security gate and lock.
• Windows: Sliding burglar bars, approximately 1.2m x 1.5m.
• Flooring: Seamless polyurethane-lined for easy cleaning.
• Electrical: Distribution board, lighting, double plug points.
• Insulation: 40mm poly insulation.
• Air conditioning: 12,000 BTU units.
• Additional features: Steel container, slab foundation, security fittings, plumbing, and water connections.

Skills Requirements

The project requires qualified personnel, including:

• Electrical engineer registered with ECSA.
• Civil engineer registered with ECSA.
• Artisan plumber with trade test certification.

All qualifications must be certified and relevant experience demonstrated through attached proof, such as signed purchase orders, appointment letters, or completion certificates.
