Objectives

The primary objectives of this tender are to procure training services in risk management, compliance management, and related areas to enhance the understanding and application of enterprise risk management, compliance obligations, and related methodologies among employees. The training aims to equip Risk Officers, Risk Champions, and staff with practical guidance, confidence, and competence to perform risk assessments, control assessments, and reporting effectively. Additionally, the tender seeks to ensure that the selected service provider can deliver online training, issue certificates of competence, and support the organization’s broader risk and compliance culture.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Provision of 2 days of online training for one delegate in risk management fundamentals, focusing on enterprise risk management activities, roles, and benefits.
• Provision of compliance management training to promote understanding of compliance obligations, policies, and reporting responsibilities.
• Issuance of training certificates upon completion.
• Delivery of training across multiple Gauteng locations including Johannesburg, Ekurhuleni, Sedibeng, West Rand, and Tshwane.
• Adherence to specified technical and skills requirements, including submission of relevant documentation and compliance certificates.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the tender include:

• Online delivery of training sessions.
• Provision of training materials and certificates of competence.
• Compliance with the specified duration (2 days) and training outcomes.
• Submission of a detailed methodology for the training approach.
• Provision of proof of experience, including reference letters and BBBEE or Sworn Affidavits.
• Adherence to the procurement and contractual conditions, including submission of valid BBBEE certificates, tax compliance, and signed affidavits.
• Completion of all required annexures and documentation as specified in the RFQ.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required from the service provider include:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in facilitating training in public or private sectors, specifically in operational, credit risk, and compliance training.
• Ability to deliver engaging online training sessions with practical guidance and methodologies.
• Proven track record through reference letters and previous client engagements.
• Capability to develop and implement training methodologies aligned with enterprise risk management and compliance standards.
• Qualified personnel with expertise in risk management, compliance, and adult training methodologies.
• Compliance with BBBEE requirements and other procurement policies.

Overall, the successful bidder must demonstrate technical proficiency, relevant experience, and the capacity to deliver quality online training aligned with the objectives of the GEP.
