The primary objective of this tender is to procure and supply battery-powered electromagnetic flowmeters suitable for potable water applications. The flowmeters must meet specified technical standards to ensure accurate measurement, durability, and compatibility with existing systems, including integration with Johannesburg Water’s SCADA system.
The scope encompasses the supply, delivery, and associated accessories of full-bore electromagnetic flowmeters for potable water pipelines. The flowmeters are to be installed at specified sizes (DN150 and DN200), with detailed dimensional and flange standards, and must include calibration certificates traceable to national standards. The project also involves compliance with Johannesburg Water’s specifications, technical requirements, and delivery timelines.
