Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint service providers for the supply and delivery of portable air-conditioners and fans, as well as pest control and fumigation services across various facilities. Specifically, the pest control services aim to treat rats, rodents, mosquitoes, cockroaches, and flies within the turbine hall offices, boardrooms, canteen, and basement parking areas for a period of six months.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Supply and delivery of portable air-conditioners and fans as specified in the tender documents.
• Provision of pest control and fumigation services for the entire turbine hall premises, including offices, boardrooms, canteen, and basement parking.
• Coverage of specific areas with defined sizes:
• Ground Floor: 5,075 m²
• First Floor: 4,794 m²
• Second Floor: 3,373 m²
• Third Floor: 3,321 m²
• Open/Basement Parking: 4,813 m²
• Provision of bait stations: 95 for offices and 67 for basement areas.
• Services are required for a period of 6 months.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the tender include:

• Registration Certificate for Pest Control services.
• Proof of municipal account or valid lease agreement (not older than 3 months).
• Completion and submission of MBD forms (attached) on PDF, on company letterhead.
• Copy of valid BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit.
• Pricing must be on the specified unit prices and exclude VAT.
• Quotes must be valid for 60 days.
• Suppliers must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• All submissions should include relevant documents such as tax clearance certificates, BBBEE certificates, municipal accounts, company registration documents, and proof of CSD registration.
• Specific goals include businesses located within the City of Johannesburg (COJ) or Gauteng Province, with supporting proof of address.
• Responses must be submitted via the E-tender portal following the provided submission guidelines.
