Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply, deliver, and install hydroboils at the Northern Works site, ensuring the provision of safe, efficient, and compliant hot water units with specific safety and technical standards.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Supply of stainless steel white epoxy-coated instant boiling water units with twin chamber technology.
• Delivery of the hydroboils to the designated site.
• Installation and commissioning of the units at Northern Works.
• Provision of safety documentation, reference letters, and safety files as required.
• Site visit and safety compliance measures during installation.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications for the hydroboils include:

• Two-way, complete with twin chamber technology.
• Thermal thermostat and thermal cut-out to prevent over-boiling and ensure safety during water supply interruptions.
• Compliance with safety standards, including safety file and safety certification.
• Reference letter for similar work experience.
• Adherence to safety, health, and environmental legislation and policies.

Skills and Skills Requirements

The tenderer must demonstrate:

• Experience in supplying and installing hydroboils or similar units, supported by reference letters.
• Qualified personnel with relevant certifications for installation and safety compliance.
• Capability to conduct site safety assessments and develop safety files.
• Competence in adhering to health and safety legislation, including safety induction, risk assessments, and emergency procedures.
• Ability to provide safety documentation such as safety plans, risk assessments, and medical fitness certificates.
• Knowledge of safety standards and procedures for working at heights, electrical safety, and hazardous substances.
• Experience in site safety management, including PPE issuance, signage, incident reporting, and emergency response.

All personnel involved must be trained and competent in their respective roles, with appropriate certifications and adherence to safety protocols throughout the project duration.
