The primary objective of this tender is to procure and ensure the supply and delivery of specific cleaning and disinfectant products, namely Clean Pine Gel, Gel Soap, and Black Disinfectant, to meet the operational needs of Johannesburg Water. The procurement aims to obtain quality products that conform to relevant standards and specifications, including bacterial efficacy testing and registration with the NRCS, while supporting the inclusion of SMMEs (EMEs or QSEs) that are at least 51% black-owned by Black People.
The scope of the tender encompasses the supply and delivery of the following items:
The products must meet specific standards, including bacterial efficacy testing as per SANS 47, and be registered with the NRCS. All quotations must include manufacture datasheets and brand names; failure to provide these will result in disqualification. The scope also includes compliance with procurement policies, tax inclusivity, and adherence to BBBEE and preferential procurement regulations.
