Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to establish a contract for marketing professional services across five (5) categories for the National Transmission Company South Africa (NTCSA). The services are to be provided on an "as and when required" basis over a period of five (5) years, ensuring the agency can effectively manage public relations, stakeholder engagement, branding, and related marketing activities to support NTCSA's strategic goals.

Scope

The scope encompasses five categories of marketing services, including:

• Public Relations and Stakeholder Management
• Reputational and Stakeholder Engagement Campaigns
• Brand Repositioning and Refresh Campaigns
• Media Campaigns targeting various channels (Broadcast, Print, Digital)
• Internal Communications and Stakeholder Engagement

The services involve strategic planning, campaign execution, stakeholder engagement, media relations, content creation, event management, digital/social media management, monitoring, reporting, and evaluation.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements focus on the agency's capacity and expertise, including:

• Ability to service accounts with a value of up to R30 million annually
• Proven experience in public relations, reputation management, and stakeholder engagement
• Demonstrated resource strength with core skills in-house, such as account management, strategic communication, media relations, content creation, and digital media
• Experience across multiple media channels (broadcast, print, digital)
• Capacity to handle a full-time staff complement of at least 5 staff members, ideally 10 or more
• Experienced senior strategists and account executives with over 4 years of experience working with large corporate clients
• Proven track record of winning new accounts and executing brand repositioning campaigns, especially targeting rural and low-income audiences
