Objectives

The primary objective of the tender is to facilitate the closure of the Shallcross Garden Waste Site as part of Phase 1. This involves conducting site surveys, removing existing infrastructure such as fencing, installing new access points, rehabilitating site features, and ensuring environmental and safety compliance throughout the process.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Preparation of "As-built" drawings for the perimeter fence and stormwater drain.
• Removal of approximately 160 meters of existing wire mesh fencing and installation of a new main entrance gate.
• Site rehabilitation activities such as compaction, laying geocellular products, and filling with 10 MPa mass concrete in specified areas.
• Conversion of a soakaway septic tank to a conservancy tank, including sealing and minor water-tightness repairs.
• Additional ancillary works including signage, revamping the guardhouse, and minor repairs to an existing park home.
• Consideration of environmental factors, such as advice from a Specialist Botanist regarding tree preservation.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements encompass:

• Conducting a comprehensive site survey and producing accurate "As-built" drawings.
• Safe removal and installation of fencing and gates, ensuring minimal environmental impact.
• Site rehabilitation involving compaction, geocellular installation, and concrete filling.
• Sealing and converting septic tanks to conservancy tanks with water-tight repairs.
• Implementation of signage, security infrastructure, and minor repairs to existing structures.
• Adherence to health and safety standards, including risk assessments and environmental considerations.

Skills Requirements
