NATIONAL DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS DURBAN INVITES TENDERS FOR SERVICE AND REPAIR, MAINTENANCE AND
REPAIRS OF HVAC & AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEMS, AT VARIOUS FACILITIES FOR A PERIOD OF 3 MONTHS
It is estimated that tenderers should have a cidb contractor grading of 1ME or higher.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who 1 ME or Higher
Only tenderers who A) Only those tenders who satisfy the eligibility criteria stated in the Tender Data May Submit Tenders
B) Tender offer must be properly received on the tender Closing Date and time specified on the invitation, completed either
electronically (if issued in electronic format), or by writing legibly in non-erasable ink. All as per standard Conditions of Tender.
C) Use of Correction Fluid is Prohibited
D) The Tenderer Document shall submit his fully priced Bills of Quantities/ (complete document inclusive of all parts) together with his
tender.
E) Bidder to attach CV with Trade Test Certificate of Artisan employed to carry out repairs on HVAC and or Refrigeration equipment
with at least 5 years post qualification tangible experience. Subject to Verification.
F) The Department reserves the right not to appoint if bidder has been awarded 2 or more contracts of similar nature within the NDPWI
in the last 3 months, for equity & fair distribution of work amongst service Providers.
G) Gas/ Refrigeration Practitioner Registration. The bidder must demonstrate access to at least one (1) appropriately registered Gas
and /or refrigeration Practitioner ( e.g. SAQCC Gas- Refrigeration & Air Conditioning) who will be responsible for all gas related HVAC
works under this Contract- Proof of valid registration for the Practitioner (s), together with proof of Employment or contractual
association with the bidder, must be submitted. are eligible to submit tenders.
