The primary objective of this tender is to engage a qualified contractor to design, supply, install, and refurbish solar photovoltaic (PV) systems combined with battery energy storage systems within the Gauteng Cluster. The project aims to establish microgrid storage containers on an as-and-when-required basis over a period of five years, enhancing renewable energy integration and energy resilience in the region.
