Objectives

The primary objective of the tender is to implement a Waste Education Programme aimed at addressing illegal dumping, promoting recycling initiatives, raising awareness about environmental degradation, and fostering sustainable development within the Winnie Madikizela-Mandela Local Municipality.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Conducting waste education activities through community engagement and outreach.
• Provision of catering for events (lunch packs and beverages).
• Supply and branding of waste recycling bin stations and related signage.
• Production and distribution of vinyl stickers and signage for recycling stations.
• Design and implementation of branding materials aligned with municipal colors and logos.

The programme covers the procurement of equipment, branding materials, and educational resources necessary for waste management awareness campaigns.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications include:

• Provision of 100 standard lunch packs with specified contents and 100 bottles of still water.
• Supply of 10 sets of 240L wheellie bin double-hinged recycling stations with custom design frames, branded with stickers.
• Production of 50 vinyl stickers with municipal branding and slogans, sized A3.
• Manufacture of 5 chromadek recycling station boards with steel poles, including illustrations and municipal logos, measuring 1500x1500mm.

All branding materials must incorporate municipal colours and logos, and be suitable for outdoor use.

Skills Requirements

The service provider must demonstrate:

• Experience in waste management education and community outreach programs.
• Capability to produce branded signage, stickers, and educational materials according to specifications.
• Technical expertise in manufacturing durable outdoor signage and branding materials.
• Ability to coordinate logistics for the supply and installation of recycling stations and signage.
• Compliance with municipal branding and environmental standards.
