Objectives

The primary objective of the tender is to invite qualified service providers to participate in the Career Exhibition 2026 organized by Winnie Madikizela-Mandela Local Municipality. The aim is to procure services and goods necessary for the successful execution of the event, ensuring compliance with municipal requirements and promoting local content and targeted goals.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Provision of catering services for the event, including buttered bread, chicken legs, drinks, chips, fruits, etc., over 4 days.
• Supply and setup of sound systems with cordless microphones.
• Provision of rectangular tables for the event duration.
• Adherence to specifications and terms of reference available on the municipal website.
• Submission of all mandatory documentation and compliance with procurement policies.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications for the services and goods include:

• Catering: 100 sets per day, comprising specific food items as detailed in the specifications.
• Sound System: A sound system with 2 cordless microphones, to operate over 4 days.
• Tables: 15 rectangular tables to be supplied and used over 4 days.

All equipment and services must meet the standards specified in the tender documents and specifications provided by the municipality.

Skills and Qualification Requirements

Service providers must demonstrate:

• Suitability and experience in providing catering, sound system, and event furniture services.
• Compliance with all mandatory documentation, including company registration, tax compliance, and municipal accounts status.
• Ability to meet technical specifications and deliver quality services within the stipulated timeframe.
• Registration on the Central Supplier Database and no involvement in corrupt or fraudulent activities.
• Provision of certified copies of identity documents, joint venture agreements (if applicable), and signed declarations confirming compliance with municipal and legal requirements.
