Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure décor services for the Smutsville Community Hall in celebration of Women’s Day on 15th August 2026. The aim is to create an attractive and suitable environment for the event, including stage draping, backdrop, photobooth setup, and related decorations.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Draping of the stage and front of the main table in specified colors (green, orange, white)
• Decorating three tables with tablecloths and chair covers
• Setting up a backdrop (circle/arch) with wording "Welcome to KM Women’s Day 2026" in colors (green, white, orange)
• Providing a carpet for the backdrop area

The décor must be completed for the event scheduled on 15th August 2026, with all items and setups to be delivered and installed at the Smutsville Community Hall.

Technical Requirements

• All décor items must be new, unused, and of current design standards
• Decorations should be durable and suitable for indoor use, with appropriate packing for transport
• Backdrop and draping must be in specified colors and include the required wording
• Setup must include a carpet and all necessary accessories for a professional presentation
• All décor must be installed and ready before the event date
• Pricing should include VAT if registered, with a detailed breakdown of costs

Skills and Skills Requirements

The successful bidder should possess:

• Experience in event décor, especially for community or corporate events
• Proven ability to deliver and install décor items within tight deadlines
• Knowledge of color coordination, fabric draping, and backdrop setup
• Capability to provide quality materials and professional installation services
• Compliance with municipal procurement policies and safety standards

Additionally, bidders must complete all mandatory forms, provide proof of tax compliance, BBBEE status, and CSD registration, and submit all compulsory documentation as specified in the tender requirements.
