Objectives

The primary objective is to procure a single unit of an infrared light device designed for clinical pain management, supplied with a supporting base, for immediate use at Ngwelezana Hospital under the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Health.

Scope

The procurement covers the once-off supply and delivery of one unit. Delivery must be completed within three weeks (15 working days) of contract award. The submitted quotation must remain valid for ninety days. All costs, including packaging, handling, and transportation to the designated hospital location, must be fully inclusive in the quoted price. Supplied items must be brand new, unused, and possess a minimum remaining shelf life of six months upon delivery.

• Maintaining an active Central Suppliers Database (CSD) registration with verified status
• Providing current tax compliance clearance from the South African Revenue Service
• Holding a valid licence issued by the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA) authorising the manufacture, wholesale, or distribution of medical devices
• Submitting verifiable documentation (CIPC ownership certificate and BBBEE affidavit/certificate) to claim preferential scoring
