Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is the procurement of folding tables and aluminium director camp chairs to support human capital investment initiatives. The aim is to acquire durable, portable furniture suitable for various operational needs, including events, training, and other departmental activities.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply and delivery of:

• 02 heavy-duty plastic folding tables (size: 1.8m, white, pre-assembled, foldable, seating capacity: 8)
• 03 aluminium director camp chairs (black and orange, 130 kg capacity, dimensions: 47D x 57W x 107H cm)

The procurement is intended for use within the Department of Public Works and Infrastructure, supporting departmental programs and activities related to human capital development.

Technical Requirements

• Folding tables must be heavy-duty, plastic, 1.8 meters in length, white in color, pre-assembled, foldable, and capable of seating at least 8 persons.
• Aluminium camp chairs must be black and orange, with sides, a capacity of 130 kg, and dimensions of approximately 47D x 57W x 107H centimeters.
• All items should meet departmental quality standards and be suitable for outdoor and indoor use.
• Suppliers must submit examples for approval, along with relevant product specifications, artwork (for branded items), and certification of compliance.
• Delivery must be completed within the stipulated timeframe, with all goods properly packaged to prevent damage during transit.

Skills Requirements

• Proven experience in supplying similar furniture and equipment to government or large organizations.
• Ability to meet technical specifications and quality standards specified in the tender documentation.
• Capacity to deliver goods within the specified timeframe and in accordance with departmental requirements.
• Compliance with procurement regulations, including registration on the National Treasury's Central Supplier Database.
• Provision of necessary documentation such as BBBEE certificates, proof of registration, and relevant resolutions authorizing the bid submission.
