Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to update and maintain the uMgungundlovu District Municipality's VIP Sanitation Register. This involves cleaning, formatting, exporting, and integrating approximately 8,700 records from multiple spreadsheets into the Master Spatial Register. The updated dataset will support sanitation functions, decision-making, and planning exercises related to water services and sanitation across the district.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Updating the existing sanitation register comprising 8,700 records across 18 workbooks and multiple sheets.
• Cleaning, formatting, and exporting data to ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, validity, timeliness, and uniqueness.
• Integrating new recipient location and information (e.g., Name, ID No, Area) into the Master Spatial Register.
• Ensuring geographic lookup areas align with key data quality dimensions to reflect current distribution of VIP Sanitation entities across the district.
• Provision of a one-year subscription service for cadastral and land ownership data updates.

Technical Requirements

• Data cleaning, formatting, and exportation of records from multiple spreadsheets into a master spatial database.
