Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure and supply garbage bags in various sizes and colors, specifically red 90L, clear 142L, and clear 90L, to Charles Johnson Memorial Hospital. The aim is to ensure the hospital has adequate waste disposal materials that meet specified standards and promote South African enterprises.

Scope

The scope includes the supply and delivery of the following items:

• Garbage bags clear 142L (1240x1300x40 microns)
• Garbage bags clear 90L (910x760x40 microns)
• Garbage bags red 90L (910x760x40 microns)

The procurement is a once-off supply, with delivery to Charles Johnson Memorial Hospital, Lot 92 Hlubi Street, Main Road, Nqtu 3135. The contract period is for a single delivery, with a validity of 90 days for quotations.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications for the garbage bags are as follows:

• Clear 142L bags: 1240x1300x40 microns, PKT OF 50
• Clear 90L bags: 910x760x40 microns, PKT OF 50
• Red 90L bags: 910x760x40 microns, PKT OF 50

All items must conform to SABS or SAN standards, be new and unused, and include relevant certification such as updated CIP C registration, BBB-EE, SARS certificate, and CSD report. The products must meet quality standards specified in the detailed annexure.
