Scope

The tender covers a once-off servicing of two Ingersol Rand medical vacuum pumps (Model: 15V). The scope encompasses comprehensive inspection, preventive maintenance, component replacement, and functional verification at the specified hospital facility. The contract validity period is ninety days, and quotations must be submitted physically in sealed envelopes to the designated quote box before the closing deadline. Electronic submissions are strictly prohibited.

Technical Requirements

• Conduct thorough visual inspections and document all identified defects.
• Drain existing vacuum pump oil and replenish with fresh compressor oil.
• Replace air filters with approved specifications.
• Inspect drive belts for wear and replace as necessary.
• Check for oil leaks and verify that safety and non-return valves operate correctly.
• Inspect and verify all electrical connections, including motor and control panel components.
• Submit a detailed cost schedule itemising compressor oil, air filters, labour, and travel expenses.
• Provide all required quality assurance and regulatory certificates (SABS, SANS, SANAS, SAQCC).

Skills and Qualification Requirements

• All servicing must be performed by a qualified artisan or technician.
• The service provider must hold a valid SAQCC Gas Registration Card, formally registered under the bidding company's name.
• Valid CIDB registration documentation must be submitted.
• Bidders must provide updated CIPC registration documents, a B-BBEE status verification certificate or sworn affidavit (for EMEs/QSEs), SARS PIN, VAT registration number (if applicable), and Central Supplier Database (CSD) number.
• At least two verifiable trade references demonstrating prior experience in similar maintenance work must be included.
• Quotations must comply with the 80/20 preferential procurement scoring system, with twenty points allocated to companies that are at least fifty-one percent owned by Black people. Proof of ownership via CIPC and B-BBEE documentation is required to claim these points.
