Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint an experienced Event Management Service Provider to facilitate the City of Mbombela's State of the City Address at Mbombela Stadium. The service provider will be responsible for providing catering, transport, public address system, and loud hailing services to ensure the successful execution of the event.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Provision of catering services for the event
• Arrangement of transport services as required
• Supply and management of public address systems
• Provision of loud hailing services during the event

The services are to be delivered at Mbombela Stadium, Central Region, for the City of Mbombela's State of the City Address.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Download and review the bid document from the official sources
• Submission of duly completed bid documents along with supporting documents
• Provision of a copy of the Tax Compliance Status
• Certified copy of B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit for B-BBEE
• Current municipal rates and taxes statements from the relevant local authority or proof of residence from a tribal authority or lease agreement with up-to-date rates and taxes for both the business and active directors
• Company registration certificate and CSD registration full report
• Sealed bid submission in an envelope marked with bid number, project description, and closing date

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder should demonstrate:

• Experience in event management, particularly for large-scale events at stadiums or similar venues
• Capability to provide catering, transport, and technical audio-visual services
• Compliance with procurement and legal requirements, including proper documentation and certification
• Understanding of health, safety, and logistical considerations for public events
• Ability to adhere to the bid submission procedures and deadlines
