Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to engage experienced service providers to supply catering, audio, and transport services for IDP consultative meetings held in the Southern and Central Regions of the City of Mbombela.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Provision of catering services for IDP consultative meetings in the Southern and Central Regions.
• Provision of audio services required for the meetings.
• Provision of transport services to facilitate attendance and logistics for the meetings.

Technical Requirements

Service providers must:

• Download the bid document from the City’s website or the National e-Tender Portal from 1 October 2025.
• Submit duly completed bid documents along with supporting documents, including:
  • Copy of Tax Compliance Status
  • Certified B-BBEE Certificate or Sworn Affidavit for B-BBEE
  • Current municipal rates and taxes statements from relevant local authorities or proof of residence from a tribal authority or lease agreement with up-to-date rates and taxes for both the business and active directors (including JV/consortium members)
  • CSD registration full report (summary report not accepted)
  • Company registration certificate
• Seal all documents in an envelope marked with the bid number, project description, and closing date.
• Ensure submission before the deadline at the specified bid box; late, telegram, fax, or email submissions will not be considered.
• No briefing session will be conducted; technical inquiries should be directed to the project manager.

Skills Requirements

Applicants should demonstrate:

• Experience in providing catering, audio, and transport services for similar events.
• Ability to comply with all technical and administrative bid requirements.
• Integrity and adherence to anti-fraud measures, with awareness of legal consequences for misconduct.
• Capacity to meet the logistical and operational demands of IDP consultative meetings.
